Jonathan E. Hilgendorf, partner, has over 23 years of experience with 18 years in public accounting serving privately-owned construction companies and five years as a controller for a privately-held company.
As partner, he is responsible for planning, managing and supervision of professional staff in the performance of audits, reviews, compilations, and tax reporting/compliance services. He also is responsible for assisting clients in income, franchise, sales and use tax and property tax audits by Federal, State and local taxing authorities, consulting and contract compliance.
He has also been involved in many claim analysis, preparation, review and litigation support cases including a large contractor in a 1,000 + hour litigation engagement. Litigation support included assisting counsel at trial with document maintenance and assistance during examination of witnesses and depositions. Claim analysis projects for general contractors, specialty contractors, construction material suppliers, owners or owner’s representatives, including report drafting.
