Thomas H Schmitt, CPA Joins The VanderBloemen / MacDonald Group


WICPA State Tax Conference and Wisconsin Public Policy Tax Committees member adds even more tax expertise to Milwaukee area CPA Firm.

For the last 25 years, Thomas Schmitt has specialized in individual and corporate taxation and Internal Revenue Service taxpayer resolution in the Mayville and Greater Milwaukee Wisconsin communities. He has also provided many other professional services for his clients including but not limited to: Bankruptcy reporting, financial statement review, individual tax consulting, asset management, business start-up, business liquidation business and personal asset valuation and the preparation of business plans.

As a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants for more than 25 years, Tom has been extremely involved and has offered his experience and dedication to the State Tax Conference committee, which he chaired in 2006, and The Wisconsin Public Policy Tax Committee.

Tom has also strived to serve the community organizations where he lives and works. He is a current member and Past President of Rotary International of Mayville, WI. He also is a current director and Treasurer of The Business Improvement District 10 in Milwaukee, WI. Tom has also served on the boards of South Side Guadalupe, Inc., Smoke Free, Inc., Dodge County United Way and USA Rugby, Inc.

Schmitt’s successful CPA practice in Greenfield will take the name The VanderBloemen/MacDonald Group. The merger of these firms allows for nearly limitless service and expertise for their clients. The firm will be part of The VanderBloemen Group of companies who have offices in Fond du Lac, Mayville, Juneau, Greenfield, Waukesha, and Mequon, Wisconsin, as well as Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
