Audits, reviews, & compilations provided for businesses.
When you need an objective eye to analyze and report on the financial status of your business, we are there to help. We provide financial reporting on all three levels of assurance:
Audit: An extensive
and objective examination of your
financial records, with the highest
level of assurance.
An audit
provides the expression of an
opinion as to whether financial
statements are fairly stated, in all
material respects, in accordance
with generally accepted accounting
principles. We perform a test of
your financial data, confirm
information with third parties as
necessary, analyze the information
for unusual trends or relationships,
and obtain an understanding of your
company’s internal control and how
it impacts the financial reporting
process.
Review: Some
analysis of financial records, with
limited assurance.
A review
involves more limited procedures,
primarily inquiries of management
and analytical procedures applied to
financial data. Based on these
procedures, we report to you whether
we are aware of any material
modifications that would be made to
the financial statements in
order for them to be in conformity
with generally accepted accounting
principles. More limited in scope
than an audit, a review may provide
a cost-effective alternative for
obtaining limited assurance with
respect to the financial statements.
Compilation: A
report on client-supplied
information, primarily for internal
use.
A compilation is limited
to preparing a report in the form of
a financial statement based on
information provided by the company.
Compilations are primarily prepared
for internal company analysis of the
financial condition of the entity.
Because the process includes no
verification procedures, assurances
are unable to be provided related to
the financial statement prepared.
